Dear Students,

You will be making some extremely important decisions as you select the courses you will take next year. Choices you make this year may have a profound impact on your future educational and career options. We encourage you to seek the assistance of your teachers, counselors, and parents as you give thoughtful consideration to your course selections. Ideally, the courses you select should be challenging, but not overwhelming in difficulty, and they should support your educational and career goals. It is important for you to be realistic as you assess your interests, abilities, and prior academic success.

This booklet was produced to provide you and your parents with information regarding graduation requirements and academic programs and courses available to you in grades 9 through 12. Your counselor is available to provide additional details and answer any questions you may have regarding your schedule for next year.

Please select your courses prudently. The development of next year's master schedule and assignment of teachers are directly aligned with student course selections; therefore, requests for course changes cannot be honored after the last day of the 2005-2006 school year.
