Incoming seniors took advantage of the opportunity to present their Graduation Projects prior to the start of the 2006-2007 school year. Amongst the presentations were a student who modeled downtown Philadelphia from Front to 30th Street out of Legos, as well as a students who composed their own family cookbooks and songs.

The graduation project provides an opportunity for demonstrating achievement through a portfolio of academic work and a culminating project that demonstrates the student’s unique interest or area of expertise. The project includes a written component, an oral component, a technology component, and a visual component all directed toward demonstration of a level of mastery of key concepts of a discipline. Souderton Area High School will provide students with appropriate support and access to resources to facilitate successful completion of the graduation project.

The purpose of this project is to assure that the student is able to analyze, synthesize, evaluate, and communicate significant knowledge, as required by state regulations.
