What paperwork does my student-athlete need in order to participate on an Athletic team?

When are PIAA physicals needed in order to participate in a seasonal sport?

  • All physicals for the 2012-2013 school year must be performed after June 1, 2012.
Prior to the start of each subsequent sport season, page 6 of the CIPPE Form* (PDF) needs to be completed.



When does each sport season begin their practices?

Practice start dates for 2012-2013

  • Fall - August 13, 2012
  • Winter - November 16, 2012
  • Spring - March 4, 2013



How do I get Coach Information?

A coaches directory is available on this Web site under Resources > Coaches Directory. Each coach will provide each Student-Athlete with paperwork the first day of practice with practice and game information as well as any other contact information.



When are team selections?

Generally, the teams are selected with in the first week of practice.

How do I find Sport Schedules?

Refer to our Web page under Sport Schedules.

Practice Schedules/Game Schedules are also located outside the Athletic Office on the bulletin boards.



How will I know when there are changes made to the schedule?

The Web site will always be running the most current schedules. If a change is made the day of the event and you are subscribed to SASD's Athletic Announcements mailing list, you will receive an e-mail when the change is made.



How and when are Uniforms collected after the season is over?

The coaches will tell you when and where they will be collecting the uniforms. Generally it is one day after school. If you are not able to make the uniform turn in day, please be sure to tell the coach so he/she can make other arrangements for you.

*Please note that uniforms are NOT to be turned in to the Athletic Office.



How do I get tickets to home Souderton events?

An admission fee may apply for any varsity and/or junior varsity contest held in the stadium, gym, or pool. The Athletic Department reserves the right to revoke or assess an admission fee based on weather, attendance, security, etc.

You may purchase tickets at the gate/lobby upon arrival to the Athletic Event. Prices this school year are as follows:

  • Adults: $5.00
  • Students (grades 6-12): $4.00
  • Children 5th grade and under are admitted free

PIAA District One playoff event prices are not determined by the Souderton Athletic Office. Prices will be announced prior to the event via e-mail or posted on the Athletic Office’s home Web page.

2012-2013 Season Family Athletic Passes are available to be purchased through the Athletic Office starting August 1, 2012. The Family Athletic Pass will cost $100.00 and includes four tickets. The Family Athletic Pass will cover entry into all home ticketed sporting events for the 2012-2013 school year. For families larger than four, additional Family Athletic Passes can be purchased at $10 per additional family member. Please complete the registration form and mail it to:

What is the High School Stadium Attendance Policy?

Commencing on September 4th, 2012, we will no longer be stamping hands for paid guests who choose to depart the stadium prior to the third quarter of our home football games. If you opt to exit the stadium, you will need to pay again in order to return or wait until the 3rd quarter to re-enter.
