Understanding Keystone Results

Keystone results are posted in Home Access Center for those who took an exam in December 2018 or January 2019.  Below is how each test impacts a student's graduation status:

Algebra I
  • Students who scored Proficient or Advanced have satisfied SASD's graduation requirement.
  • Student who scored Basic or Below Basic on their first attempt must retake the Algebra I Keystone at the end of their Algebra II course.
  • Students who scored Basis or Below Basic on their second attempt must take Souderton's Intervention course next school year to satisfy the graduation requirement.
Literature
  • Students who scored Proficient or Advanced have satisfied SASD's graduation requirement.
  • Student who scored Basic or Below Basic on their first attempt must retake the Literature Keystone at the end of their English course next school year.
  • Students who scored Basis or Below Basic on their second attempt must take Souderton's Intervention course next school year to satisfy the graduation requirement.
Biology
  • While we encourage our students to give their best effort on the Biology Exam, Proficiency is not a graduation requirement.
