4/9/2008: Spring Recycling Day on Saturday, April 19

SAVE (Students Against Violating the Earth), in conjunction with Montgomery County, invites you to their annual spring recycling day.

Event: Recycling Day
Date: Saturday, April 19, 2008
Time: 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.
Location: Indian Valley Middle School, 130 Maple Avenue, Harleysville

SAVE will collect the following items:

• PAPER (All types) Books, magazines, junk mail…we want it all!
• Cardboard
• Scrap Metal
• Auto Tires ($3 charge or $4 with rim)
• Cell Phone
• Computer Ink Cartridges
• Car Batteries
• Unwanted Dishes

Montgomery County will collect:

• Computers and Electronics
• Oil Based Paints
• Oil
• All other Household Hazardous Waste

The SAVE organization in the Souderton Area School District sponsors community recycling days and a variety of community and environmental awareness programs. The goal of SAVE is to increase involvement in the effort to improve our environment. All donations benefit the students of SAVE.
