8/20/2007: Brad Garrett moves into head coaching position at SAHS

Brad Garrett has been selected to coach girls' varsity tennis and boys' varsity volleyball at Souderton Area High School, pending school board approval.

Garrett served as assistant coach for five years under Will Lapp at SAHS and coached the Indian Valley Club Team for two years. He was co-captain of 1998 state championship team; 1st Team All-State 1998; 1st Team All-League and All-District 1997 and 1998.

"We are looking forward to an exciting season with coach Garrett," said Tom Quintois, SASD athletic director.

Garrett has taught math at Souderton Area High School for the past 7 years. He and his wife reside in Telford.
