The SAHS Guidance Department now has a Wiki site available for student and parents. "What is a Wiki?" one might ask. A Wiki is a type of Web-based communication where "discussions" can take place between numerous individuals. The most notable Wiki would be Wikipedia - an open encyclopedia site that is constantly updated by users of the site. The SAHS Guidance Wiki that has been developed by the SAHS Guidance Department is not open to editing by everyone who views the page (only the counselors can update pages). What the SAHS Guidance Wiki will allow is for students and parents to post comments and questions to which the Guidance Department can respond. There is currently information on the Wiki about the SAT's, Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Course Selection. There is even an informative video posted showing how a Wiki works!
