Prerequisite: Good academic standing, good attendance record, and counselor approval

This course is especially recommended for students who plan to pursue careers in the teaching field. Admission will be by approval of the guidance department. After three days of training to cover expectations, program organization, and teacher tasks and skills, students are then matched with a teacher at the elementary, middle, or high school level. This program permits students to see teaching from the teacher's perspective. students' jobs are determined on a daily basis by the cooperating teacher and their students. students with a strong desire to help others find this a rewarding course. It helps with the decision making process of whether or not the field of education is a good career choice.
