Please note: The Annual Family Night Hike has been rescheduled from Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27 to Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3 due to inclement weather.
The Annual Family Night Hike hosted by SAVE (Students Against Violating the Earth) is here once again! On Friday, November 2, and Saturday, November 3, stop by anytime between 6:00 to 9:00 pm with your children at this event, which is themed, “Fly Me to the Moon.” The purpose is to provide a night of family fun and provide an educational alternative to traditional scary events. Go for a hayride and take a walk along the candle-lit trails while hearing stories about the constellations. Roast marshmallows at the bonfire or explore the stars in the Star Lab portable planetarium. Play games at the carnival and win prizes! The cost is $2.50 per person plus an additional $1.00 if you wish to see a show in the Star Lab. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend this event, so don’t forget to fly to the moon!
