Health Services: Home & School Visitor

The Home and School Visitor is a certified staff specialist legally qualified for developing positive interpersonal relationships between professional members of the schools' pupil personnel services team (counselors, psychologists, and school nurse) and external referral agencies, community and neighborhood organizations, and the home in order to facilitate the optimal school opportunity and personal development of the pupil. The Home and School Visitor engages in social case work, investigation of family problems, and staff cooperation with community resources and social work agencies.
