SAHS operates on a hybrid block schedule consisting of four 85-minute periods and one advisory period per day. Most classes are held every day; however, certain courses are taught every other day. Courses taught in this two-day cycle alternate on each school day.

Standard Bell Schedule
Rooms opened and staffed – 7:25a.m.
Warning Bell – 7:38a.m.
Block 1 7:40a.m. – 9:07a.m.
Block 2 9:14a.m. – 11:02a.m.*
Block 3 11:09a.m. – 1:11p.m.
             Lunch A 11:09 – 11:39a.m.
             Lunch B 11:55a.m. – 12:25p.m.
             Lunch C 12:41 – 1:11p.m.
Block 4 1:18p.m. – 2:45p.m.

* Instruction in Block 2 ends at 10:41a.m. The time between 10:41 and 11:02a.m. will be used for the Red Alert show, Advisories (Wednesdays), or extra help time.
Lunches will be scheduled as part of Block Three.

2 Hour Delay Bell Schedule
Block 1 9:40 – 10:38a.m.*
Block 2 10:44 – 11:42a.m.**
Block 3 (11:48a.m. – 1:30p.m.)
             Lunch A 11:48a.m. – 12:18p.m.
             Lunch B 12:24 – 12:54p.m.
             Lunch C 1:00 – 1:30p.m.
Block 4 1:36 – 2:45p.m.

*AM Vo-Tech students report to auditorium
**PM Vo-Tech students dismissed to lunch at 11:15a.m.; RedAlert will not be broadcast

ACT 80 Day Bell Schedule - dismissal at 10:45a.m.
Block 1 7:40 – 8:21a.m.
Block 2 8:28 – 9:09a.m.
Block 3 9:16 – 9:57a.m.
Block 4 10:04 – 10:45a.m.

• Lunches will NOT be served
• AM Vo-Tech students will attend Vo-Tech and will NOT attend their Block 3 and 4 classes at SAHS
• PM Vo-Tech students will attend their Block 1 and 2 classes, but may be dismissed (with parent permission) at the end of Block 2. They will NOT attend Vo-Tech.

Extended Advisory Bell Schedule
Block 1 7:40-9:03a.m.
Block 2 9:09-10:31a.m.
Advisory 10:37-11:02a.m.
Blocks 3 & 4 resume normal schedule
