MCCC Dual Enrollment Opportunities for 2020-2021

For the 2020-2021 year only, SAHS juniors and seniors are eligible to take an unlimited number of MCCC dual enrollment credits to count toward high school graduation requirements. Prior to registering for a college course, it is strongly advised to communicate the courses with your counselor to ensure they are the most appropriate courses in the necessary areas to meet graduation requirements. Also, prior to registering, it is important to review the style of course being offered. There are two types of online courses, those that may meet at a specific time (this could create an issue with scheduled courses through SAHS) or independent courses, where students complete work on their own to meet course deadlines.

Students will have two registration options to take a MCCC course.

  1. To be guaranteed a MCCC course, a student may register at any time through the registration process listed below. The cost is $191 per credit.
  2. Students also have the option of waiting to register for a course at a discounted rate. A list of courses and how to register for these discounted classes will be sent by MCCC in the upcoming weeks. They will be open to all students who attend a high school in Montgomery County. If you register for any of these courses, they are not guaranteed, but if admitted, the total cost will be $191 per course (regular price is $191 per credit, not course). A student may only take a maximum of 2 courses at the discounted rate.

How to register for a Dual Enrollment course through MCCC:
