Carter Stoudt's Filmmaking
Souderton Area High School junior Carter Stoudt had an exciting summer filled with filmmaking and film festivals! The most notable of them were the Southeastern Pennsylvania Teen Filmmakers Showcase where Carter's film The Fatal Affair was selected as one of the 5 nominated best of Fest films out of over 700 submitted films and more recent accolades were selections into the prestigious Coronado Island Film Festival, the Sidewalk Film Festival (Voted one of the top 25 coolest film festivals in the world by Moviemaker Magazine-2023), The All-American High School Film Festival (The Largest Teen Film Festival in the World) which Carter will travel to NYC to represent and screen his film, and The Catalina Film Festival (Voted in the elite top 1% of film festivals worldwide) where Carter had the opportunity to attend in California presenting and discussing his film The Box, walking the red carpet, and attending a panel discussion with international film directors. Carter also traveled to New York City with classmate Senior Reid Willard where they attended week-long classes in filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
