College Courses/Early Graduation

Students in their fourth year at Souderton Area High School who have fulfilled all graduation requirements by the end of the First Semester during their fourth year, have the opportunity to graduate at the end of the first semester (early graduates receive their diploma in the June Commencement Ceremony). Upon early graduation, graduates may take post-secondary classes without the approval of school officials. Prior to early graduation, students must take a full schedule of classes at Souderton Area High School. For tenth and eleventh grade students, a minimum of 7.0 credits must be taken. For twelfth grade students, a minimum of 6.5 credits must be taken. Early graduates must take a schedule that has no more than one period per day of senior privilege.
