Hands Across the District is a volunteer program for the entire community which brings persons of all ages into our schools. From the parent of a preschooler, who assists a teacher with work done at her home, to a senior citizen one-on-one, the Indian Valley community has a wealth of talent to offer our students.
Parent volunteers continue to be the mainstay of the volunteer program, and we encourage parents to become involved in our schools. But in addition to parents, the community includes people with expertise, time and a genuine caring about children and education.
